Matchday 1 of Primera Infantil Castelló · Group 1. CD Almazora’s Infantil A opened the 2025/26 season at Camp Municipal Les Boqueres in Almassora, hosting CD Roda “C”, one of the group’s strongest sides, who eventually took the match 1-3.
Rafael Sanchez’s team came out with personality and managed to disrupt the opposition during long stretches of the match. Almazora showed a good touch building from the back and moments of associative play, with Jaime very assured between the sticks to open the season.
Despite the result, the squad left a good impression on debut: a competitive side, well-organised and with players able to stand up to one of the group’s top rivals. Infantil A have since confirmed across the season that that first matchday was only the start of a very serious campaign in 8th place.
