The Amateurs come away empty-handed against Onda B

CD Almazora ‘B’ lose 1-2 to CD Onda ‘B’ on matchday 22 of Segona FFCV in a rain-soaked match at the Pesudo.

Matchday 22. CD Almazora ‘B’ couldn’t pick up points at home and fell 1-2 to CD Onda ‘B’ in a match marked by heavy rain and a tricky pitch at Campo Municipal Jose Manuel Pesudo.

The reserves started the game well and warned early through Marc Argenso and Adán Guillen, but Onda B took the lead from a set piece. The albinegros reacted with a good corner-kick goal that levelled the score and left the game open at half-time.

In the second half an unfortunate moment at the back let Onda B retake the lead, and although Miguel Armenteros’s side chased the equaliser to the very end with attacking substitutions, the score didn’t change.

The Amateurs string together another home setback, leaving them on 27 points with several matchdays still to play. The idea remains the same: compete in every fixture and give minutes to the youngsters with first-team potential.
